The Attorney General is the state’s top law enforcement official and chief legal officer. The Attorney General’s office represents state agencies and enforces state laws. Some of their priorities include consumer protection, fighting illegal drugs such as fentanyl, combatting elder abuse, safeguarding Arizona’s groundwater, investigating financial crimes, and educating the public. Some interesting stuff that we learned about the Arizona Attorney Generals office included

 - In 2024, they received nearly 22,000 consumer complaints for scams and deceptive practices
 - They have rescued more that $5.2 million for Arizona consumers
 - They have distributed over 27,000 naloxone units across the state (medicine to treat fentanyl overdoses)
 - There is now an Elder Abuse Registry, which can be found HERE
