President Kayla Mudge opened the meeting, John Pennypacker led the Pledge of Allegiance, and Dick Myren gave an Invocation. Today’s raffle was won by Chuck Flint himself! He had Brian Harvey draw a cards on his behalf, and Brian drew the Ace of Clubs! Chuck won the large pot of $85.

The Programs of Scale process awards funding to successful member-led programs so they can implement larger, higher-impact initiatives in our areas of focus.
Each year, The Rotary Foundation grants one Programs of Scale award of US $2 million to a club- or district-sponsored program that has proven its effectiveness and is ready to expand.
The programs need to use sustainable, evidence-based methods and have outcomes that can be measured. This allows us to track our progress and share what we learned in order to increase our impact - one of our Action Plan priorities.

Rotary Connections is sometimes referred to as Rotary’s “College of Knowledge.” Rotary Connections touches on “everything Rotary”. Rotary Connections is made up of three one-day Sessions to give you an overview of what Rotary is and what it does worldwide. Its goal is to create ENTHUSIASM for Rotary and show the enormous potential of Rotary service and how with knowledge and excellent leadership in Clubs, the world will benefit.
As Rotarians, we are regularly exposed to opportunities to support various causes with our time, talent and treasure. Sometimes it is hard to sift through all the information and decide where we are going to use our available financial resources.
