Please make every effort to attend this week's lunch meeting as our Annual Meeting will be held. President Kayla Mudge and President-Elect Connie Bunyard will share their vision for the upcoming year. The club will also be voting on the slate of officers and incoming Directors for the 2026-2027 Rotary year. Here are the Officers and Directors being proposed:
To kick off the week, Pam Cohen hosted a wrapping party. Mesa West club members and mentors of this year’s Rotary Builds Bridges/McKinney Vento students gathered to enjoy each other’s company while doing a bit of service for these very deserving students.
Also, many Mesa West members and their friends and family have spent time ringing the bell outside of Bass Pro on behalf of the Salvation Army. This is an annual service event which is dear to our Mesa West hearts!
To top off an incredible week, instead a regular lunch meeting Mesa West Rotary celebrated the season with a Happy Hour social event at Bobby Qs. Lots of enjoyable conversations were had and delicious food eaten! And we surprised our two very efficient and nice servers with an extra holiday-sized tip! Here are some pictures from our fun evening.
The Rotary Foundation plans for the future, not just for today, and helps members put ideas into action. In the words of Arch Klumph:
"Rotary has assumed a great obligation to the world..... Its opportunities are limitless, but its
income today and of tomorrow will never permit it to do the many things which it could and should do. Let me remind you of these three facts: (1) money alone does little good. (2) individual service is helpless without money, (3) the two together can be a godsend to civilization."
Thank you for the time, energy, and financial support you give to Rotary's mission.
As Rotarians, we are regularly exposed to opportunities to support various causes with our time, talent and treasure. Sometimes it is hard to sift through all the information and decide where we are going to use our available financial resources.
It would be wonderful if every Mesa West Rotarian would make the following BIG FOUR their Rotary charities of choice and support every one of them every year, we could make a bigger difference than we are making today.
